I have a month to get this baby’s first birthday party pulled together. (It won’t be over the top, but she does deserve SOME sort of celebration!) I can’t believe she’ll be 11 months old later this week. Mind boggling.
The elusive sixth tooth has started breaking through. Teething is one of the worst parts of this age. That and sleepless nights, but those seem to go hand in hand.
I thought the time change would really mess us up, but she didn’t seem too affected. I mean we’re a day into losing an hour, but she appears to have recovered quite nicely.
I’m going to have to pull out the baby gate pieces so I can block her from getting into things (like the cat food.) I do love this stage, because if she wants me, she can generally crawl to me. Oh and she’s getting so much more vocal. If she wants her daddy, she yells for him. “dada! dada!” It’s very cute. (She sometimes does this in the middle of the night – not so cute.)
We had one really tough evening this past week where I had to call in my mom for help. Lilah was inconsolable and Kenny was working, so it was me, solo parenting two kids at bedtime. It was rough. I still don’t know what was wrong, but the screaming lasted more than an hour and she wouldn’t let me (or my mom) put her down.
I’ve been off work (technically) since Thursday (I did work late that night, and some on Friday) so it was just the girls on Friday and we’ve had a lot of together time the past few days. We snuck out yesterday for a walk while the boys were napping and we should have tomorrow together before I head back to work on Wednesday. (Yay, spring break!)
Oh and size-wise, she’s growing out of her 6-9 months clothing and in some 12 months outfits. We don’t have many cold weather clothes for her in the next size, so I really need to do some shopping!

Aww! Such a cutie. The time change has DESTROYED me this week. I’m not being dramatic. I cannot get out of bed in the morning and I’ve been late to work every day this week. Employee of the year, I am not.
