We spent most of the weekend outside and not on computers. It was glorious. I would love for many more 70 degree days, but only on the days I am not working. (Of course, not so secretly I’m wishing for one more snow day before winter is officially over. Just because sometimes I like being stuck at home. It forces us to take a break from all of the running around.)
By the way, this weekend we had no problem being at home. We did try the swing out with the baby (yes, she is not buckled properly in there. However, I didn’t step away from her, and she was barely swinging.) Clearly, my daughter hates the swing. 😉
Reading Work PAUSE Thrive: How to Pause for Parenthood Without Killing Your Career – a book I’m going to be reviewing in the next week or so. It’s so good right now. I relate on every level as I still try to figure out how I can have it all. (And don’t get me wrong, I’m reading a lot of chick lit too. The Kindle is an amazing tool, and it’s very helpful to have mindless things to read in the middle of the night.)
Wishing for a few consecutive nights of 10 hours of sleep. Especially after I was up every two hours last night. *yawn*
Watching last night I watched The Grammys and I loved everything I was able to see. (I was also cleaning and getting ready for Monday.) I started This Is Us a couple of weeks ago, and while I’m not binge-watching it, it’s been really good. I’m hoping my husband will catch up and we can watching this show together.
Writing all the Valentines. My boy wrote all of the names of his classmates (and his name) on each Valentine. I didn’t check to be sure he got each name, as he marked them off a list as he went along. So fingers crossed all were included. They had to be turned in today!
Listening to Ed Sheeran. I can’t wait for his new album to release next month.
Making all the paper crafts – and more! I’ve been purging my craft stuff, and if I don’t use it, I need to lose it. I will have another craft destash on the blog next week!
Planning my week. My planner is getting quite a workout these days. My husband and I sat down at the beginning of February to go over the month, but we really need to sit down this week and start looking at March. Our schedules can get crazy FAST. I want to plan a vacation soon. Or at least start planning one. I think that’s doable.
How is your month going? Hard to believe February is almost half over!
