11 weeks

Look who is 11 weeks old today!

He’s still off and on with his sleep at night. Last night he was awake at 2 a.m., but I’ve gotten used to his 3:30 and 4 a.m. wake-ups. On rare occasions, he wakes up at 5:30 or a little bit later. Sadly, I haven’t had the seven hour stretch of sleep this week. I’m not sure what’s going on – maybe he senses that I’m going back to work on Monday? While we have no set schedule for sleep, he has fallen into somewhat of a routine with eating. That, at least, has been helpful.

He has definitely found his hands, and is starting to grab more stuff – like blankets and burp cloths (and occasionally my hair). He’s a fan of grabbing a blanket and sticking his thumb in his mouth. It’s his new “trick.”

We’ve officially moved into the size medium gDiapers, and have about a week left in size 1 diapers. He’s about 13.5 pounds this week. He’s still okay in 0-3 month clothes, but the sleepers with the feet in them are getting tighter, so those are being rotated out faster than other clothes.

Our Christmas cards have been ordered, and I did torture dress Chloe and Lucas up for photos. I thought I might be able to get a photo of them together, and instead got a few photos like this:

Not great. So their individual pictures made it to the card. (I’ll share the card when they’ve been mailed out – so early December.)
