18 weeks

I know I just posted about how Lucas is 4 months old, but he’s now 18 weeks old. 🙂 And there are a few family members who just can’t get enough of his pictures. So here we go.

18 weeks!

He had his first day of day care yesterday, and today he had his first fever, which we’re attributing to his four-month shots he got yesterday. Poor kid. Luckily, it started coming down pretty quickly after I got him at lunchtime.

This week he’s laughing, grabbing things more intently, checking out Chloe and just really getting to know his surroundings. He’s trying to lean forward a lot more on his own and when he’s eating, he likes to stop and chat. Or look around. Anything, but eat.

My dad and stepmom have been visiting this week.


He received his exersaucer for Christmas, but we haven’t had it out much. He seemed to enjoy the one at his day care, so hopefully we’ll start putting him in his more often. (He also still loves his activity mat, and grabbing things above his head, so I’d rather have him playing on the floor if he’s sitting in seats/swings/exersaucers at day care all day.)

We sure do love this little guy!
