In a few short weeks, we’ll have a two-year-old on our hands. And this month she decided to really show us what a handful she can be.

She’s definitely still working on getting her two-year molars. Teething is rough, but she’s been sleeping more through the night this month. Daylight Saving Time really screwed us up. Her normal bedtime is 7:00 and she’s still falling asleep close to 8pm, but waking before 7am every day. I’m hoping she can get back on track and sleep either until 7am or falls asleep earlier.

She has started climbing more! She knows she can pull herself onto the bench at our dining room table, and she has started climbing on top of the table. I’ve caught her twice up there, and a third time I caught her on the bench. We have to be super careful that the bench is pushed all the way in.

She is still a big eater! If I am eating something, and she sees me, she’ll run up and open her mouth and say “ahhhhhh!” She’s an animal. 🙂

Also, I have no idea how my son was living life to the fullest before our daughter came into the picture. These two love each other so much.

She loves books (she calls them “gooks”), her dolls, her dollhouse, and anything in her brother’s room. She can spend so much time in his room and never appear bored. She has started singing songs to herself (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is a popular one, of course) and I’ve heard her reading books to herself. It’s about the cutest thing you’ll ever witness if you see her in person.

I know that age 2 is supposed to be “terrible” but I’m excited to see how she grows, and hopefully make the most out of the two’s!
