26 weeks
Half of a year. It’s flying by.
I’m going to do a 6-month post following the baby’s doctor visit this week.
Today, Lucas is 26 weeks old.
He’s a pretty happy baby. And he’s getting squirmy and wiggly and curious about everything. This is what a lot of our photos really look like:
He’s mostly out of his 3-6 month clothes. There are still a few things that fit, but most everything was too small. Now all of his clothes are too big. And we had to get more clothes this past weekend that were a little more weather-appropriate.
We tried sweet potatoes this past Saturday! I know we can try new fruits or vegetables every four or so days, but I’m going to go about a week in between. It’s easier for us to start new things on the weekend.
He really likes the sweet potatoes. He’s actually not loving the cereal much these days. I’m going to try it at a different time of the day and see if it makes a difference.
We’re having nap issues. He doesn’t take them. Part of it stems from daycare, and not sleeping there, but it’s rough right now. (I wrote this early today. And then he napped for almost 2 hours this afternoon.)
And last night, he slept through the night. I didn’t realize it until I was trying to soothe him back to sleep and my alarm went off. I thought it was 3 a.m., when it was really 5:50 a.m. Crazy. I doubt it will happen again tonight. I kind of believe whatever you do on February 29 didn’t really happen…
Other than that, there hasn’t been too much happening in our little world. We’re still trying to get over our colds (almost have them beat), so we haven’t ventured out much!
I can’t believe I get to meet this little guy in a month!!!
