Since Halloween is all but over, we’re quickly heading into the holiday season – and one of my favorite parts of this season is holiday cards! Ever since my husband and I married 10 years ago, we’ve sent photo cards. They’ve varied over the years from simple and inexpensive to much higher quality and a half dozen photos (sometimes more.) This year, I’m checking back with Minted to see what they have that is new and exciting.
I really like the simple look, and I’m a huge fan of collages. I normally can’t select just one good photo of my family or kids, so a collage makes that decision-making simpler for me!
I dream of ordering a foil card. This has a single photo option, and while I do love a single family photo, I know that we have one decent family picture and my son is doing strange winking face – a phase he’s going through. So I imagine I’ll end up doing a collage of pictures.
I don’t consider myself a modern or edgy kind of girl, but these are typically the style of cards we have gone with over the past 4 or 5 years. They’re clean, beautiful and can accommodate so many photos. (Keep in mind I often include a picture of our cat. No shame in including the family pet, right?)
The great part of Minted’s website is there are SO many different card options! You don’t have to go over the top extravagant, yet you don’t have to stick with the simplest card they offer.
What style card do you think you are?
