I should just post ,”sleep has escaped us. that is all.” and call it a day. The baby is now 32-weeks-old. And only getting older.
But, really, he hasn’t been sleeping. I blame teeth and new talents (such as the rolling around.) He’s been working on his sitting up on his own (which he can do, but doesn’t like to do it for very long.) He really doesn’t have an interest in sitting, since he can get around by rolling.
He’s been untying his bumper pad for the past week, so that’s been interesting. He also yells at us when he’s upset. One night he had a meltdown in his highchair. We think it was a combination of teething and being overtired (read: no nap) and he just lost it. He went to bed before his normal 7:30 bedtime.
Overall, he’s very much a joy to be with. Except between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.
