33 weeks
Time is flying around here! Our little guy is 33-weeks-old today.
And he has two more teeth. EIGHT teeth. I have a co-worker whose 18-month-old only has 8 teeth. At least it was quick this time.
He slept through the night on Thursday night, and then on Monday night (though I didn’t sleep through the night, so does it count??) We’re wondering if the back-to-back teething over the past 4 weeks is what has disrupted his sleep so much. Didn’t help that we also traveled during teething, but still.
His babysitter is working on getting him to crawl. She puts him up on his knees sometimes. He’s sitting up pretty well, but would still rather roll. He scoots backwards sometimes, and he can do a complete 360 in the floor (and his crib.) He’s all over the place.
(Oh, and check out our new furniture. I don’t think I ever posted a picture of it!)
I still put him in his swing in the mornings, so I can contain him while I finish getting ready for work. Yesterday, however, I learned he can pull his leg from under the tray and almost escape. He’s sneaky. And does not want to be contained in any area.
Clothes-wise, he’s officially wearing some 12 month clothes. This makes me (somewhat) sad. But he’s thriving, so I can’t be that sad over it.
Food-wise, he started eating bananas this week (I turn them into mush and add a little milk so they’re more of a consistency he can deal with.) He really, really likes them.
And I think I mentioned this on Twitter, but not here – he had his first hair trim on Saturday! Our hairdresser trimmed his bangs, so he could see again. I’m thinking there will be another trim in his future, well before his first birthday.
Cute, and too funny about him figuring out how to escape from places! š
He looks so much bigger than just a couple weeks ago!
