So the good thing is….we have a name.
And we’re still not sharing it. ๐
We also have a nursery – all thanks to my very hardworking mom! Seriously. We would be looking at a disaster of a room (or two rooms) if it wasn’t for her. My husband has spring break in another week, and that’s when he was planning on getting things done. (!!!) My job this week is to create a list of everything else that needs to be done, and he says he’ll do it.
(At least sharing the photo from last week, even though I didn’t write a post.)
How far along am I: 35 weeks (And last pregnancy’s 35-week update.)
Size of baby: About 5 pounds – and the size of a honeydew melon.
Total weight gain/loss: I haven’t gained more than a half pound in 6 weeks. (This fact is interesting because I kind of stalled at this point during my last pregnancy.)
Clothes: Is it odd that I can still wear some of my sleep shorts and pants? Maybe I’ll wear yoga pants for the rest of my life.
Gender: Still a girl.
Movement: Lots of movement. Lots and lots. She’s still more calm at night, but during the day she moves a lot.
Sleep: Meh. It’s hit or miss. Mostly miss. I’ll sleep when I’m dead.
What I miss: Bending over without being out of breathe.
Cravings: Ice water. We’re back to that.
Symptoms: The leg cramps can get intense. The sleeplessness is not something I want to get used to. And I want to sleep on my back (or stomach!) again.
Best moment this week: I cashed in my gift certificate for a maternity massage. I almost fell asleep a few times. And I almost asked them if I could just nap in that room all day long. It was heaven.
I had a doctor appointment this morning. My weight hasn’t changed much in the past 6 weeks, but my blood pressure is just crazy. I go one or two appointments and it’s normal, and then it just skyrockets. So I’ve been instructed to rest when I get home from work each day. I also had to have blood work done and it turns out I’m anemic. I’m officially on extra iron pills until this baby arrives.
