Someone has had a much better week.
Still some sleep issues we’re working out, but better overall. Food-wise: He tried peaches this week. The verdict is still out. He always looks confused and not so sure about the peaches at first (and second) bite, but by the end, he’s fine. Mobility-wise: He’s all over. And he’s starting to grab the top of the crib. Almost time to move the crib mattress down.
He LOVES Chloe. Today he was in his exersaucer, and I was holding Chloe, so I held his hand to pet her gently. She kind of likes him too. He’s an interesting creature to her.
I think I’m still a little bit in denial about the fact that he’s wearing 12 month clothes and he’s only 8-months-old. Makes me sad because the clothes are just. so. BIG!
He’s starting to use his knees a bit more when he crawls. And he dances! When he hears music – whether it’s from the radio, his exersaucer or one of us singing to him, he shakes his whole body!
We’ve been sleep-training at bedtime again. We kind of let up a few weeks ago during the teething fiasco. It seems to be working. Last night, he went to bed and was sleeping within 6 minutes.
Oh, and he’s working on getting his 10th tooth. TEN. That’s huge.
