Another week with this happy baby.
He’s pulling up at every chance he can get. And we’ve released him from his play gate area, for the most part. Yesterday when I walked in from work, he was chasing (crawling) daddy down the hallway. Both were screeching. That’s one way to tire him out, I guess.
He’s had a bit of a sleep regression this week. He was waking around 5 or 6 a.m. for a feeding, and now he’s stuck at 3:45 or 4. I’m not a fan. We’re working on it.
This child LOVES water! I can put him in his kiddie pool or bathtub and he’s entertained for the longest time. It’s a good thing that I enrolled him in swimming lessons for another month.
He’s been going to story time at the library on Tuesday mornings and it seems like he’s really starting to enjoy it. There’s a lot of singing, rhymes and, of course, stories, which he’s starting to pay attention to. Not to mention, he’s around babies closer to his own age.
Bedtime has become a little easier. He’s usually not asleep when I take him into his room after his last feeding. He’s been sitting quietly while we read a book, and the past few nights he’s just played with his monkey (lovey) before finally falling asleep. Just wish he’d sleep later than 4 a.m.!
