46 weeks
He’s closing in on one year old!
This has been another good week for us. Lots of playing, crawling, pulling up. The usual. He’s starting to say “bye” more. It doesn’t always sound like “die” now. And waving “bye” is becoming more frequent.
And this afternoon he was saying “uh oh” over and over. He wasn’t even doing anything that warranted saying “uh oh” but he sure sounded cute saying it.
Lucas LOVES my mom’s dog, Sophie. When he sees her, he grins and if he’s on the floor he’ll take off after her. She runs from him.
Some of his 12 month clothes aren’t fitting. Looks like we’re heading to the next size! I’ve also noticed his feet are getting bigger (because some of his shoes are fitting, but not as loose as they once were.) He’s really growing quickly!
Take note of that first photo – and his legs. A neighbor asked last night what we were feeding him and was shocked that he’s still nursing. Just goes to show that he’s getting exactly what he needs!
Speaking of getting bigger….his baby tub has been retired. He now takes baths in the regular big tub and this past week he’s started really playing with toys in there – like making them doing things. He’s so much fun right now!
