47 weeks
I’m not sure how we’ve managed to continue the weekly photos, but someone is clearly getting tired of it.
Just 5 more weeks, kid. Five more weeks.
This week, he’s learned how to clap. On his own, no holding of the hands. I attribute this to the massive amounts of “pat a cake” we’re playing, the “if you’re happy” song and other songs that we sing and play around the house. (Daycare is big on this stuff. So is library time on Tuesdays and even swim lessons on Saturday.)
When he sees Sophie the dog, he squeals with excitement, and I think he’s trying to say dog and cat. He’s got “bye” down.
Oh, he’s even started blowing kisses. He’s only done it twice(?) and it’s really cute. He’s big on bath time, going so far as to crawl into the bathroom, climb up the side of the tub and try to lift his leg to get in. Don’t worry, though. I never put water in the tub until he’s in the tub. And we’re always with him. He started doing this standing at the tub thing about two or three weeks ago. I finally got it on video this week.
Sleep has escaped us another week. I have some theories on this. I may share them. For now, though, we’re just trying to get some rest in our house.
Too cute! I love that he tries to get into the bath by himself!
