This girl has had a great week! She isn’t sick, she’s been getting great sleep, and we took two out of town trips this week.
She doesn’t hate to be worn, but she’d rather twist around and go, if given the chance. This was only a problem when we went on a two-mile somewhat strenuous hike. She did fall asleep on the second half, which was nice.
If she doesn’t like or want food, she has no issues dropping it over the side of her high chair. Chicken is hit or miss. She would prefer to have it on a fork, or at least take it off the fork herself. I tried cheese with her this past week and she was not a true fan (yet. I can’t understand anyone doesn’t absolutely love cheese.)
She loves to twist around on her changing pad. If I give her a brush, she will try to brush her hair. The twisting is getting really annoying, but I know her brother did it too.
She hates socks. I try to put soft shoes on her, and she’ll take them off as soon as possible. Sometimes she has the socks off before I even get her off her changing pad. Hates, hates, hates socks. She’s not a fan of hats, so I have to make sure any hats go under her chin and tie or velcro. She doesn’t hate bows (yet.) She at least will leave those alone.
I can’t believe we’ll be celebrating her birthday in the next week!
