addiction to fabric.
Hi, my name is Jaime, and I have an addiction to pretty fabric.
For real.
I’m on a sewing binge. It’s all I want to do. And when I feed into my latest obsession, I complete a project and start to think of what I can create next.
I ordered fabric on Monday night. A lot of it. Enough to make two sets of curtains for our guest room (or our master bedroom – and then move those curtains back to the guest room) and a pair of curtains for our bathroom. And more fabric because it was cute, and it’s always good to have pretty fabric lying around, “just in case.” Right?
I went to Hancock Fabrics last night to return something, and pick up velcro for my laptop cover and iPod case. I walked out with more fabric. Fabric that may end up being used for the bathroom window (and then I can use that other fabric for something more fun!)
Today I realized that our trip to Honolulu next Wednesday is 18 HOURS. 12 of which will be in the air. And I don’t have a sleep mask….do you see where this is going?
I found my next project. A sleep mask. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
not to feed the addiction or anything………hee hee hee! I found a place in Gastonia (exit 21 off of I-85) Mary Jo’s Cloth Store. Or Maryjos.com. A store that is wall to wall fabric! I stopped there on the way back from my parents house, and was greatly impressed. I went looking for Scout fabric, and found 20 or more diferent pattern, some I had never seen before.
Sometimes you just need to feed the addiction!
i thought you were going to invest in a pocket sewing machine for the flight! LOL!
Can’t believe your trip is almost here!!!
