aka Sniffles

I called a friend yesterday and left her a voicemail message. It started like this:
“Hey, it’s Jaime. Aka Sniffles.” I don’t think she could really understand me.

I’ve been exhausted for the past week and a half, and thought I had a cold. Only I seem to be getting worse, not better. I think it’s a sinus infection. I’m going to pay a doctor $20 (plus money for meds) tomorrow to tell me it’s a sinus infection.

I wish I could diagnose myself and save the $20.

I don’t like going to the doctor. It wastes my time (except that one time my aunt had to drive me because I couldn’t pick myself off the floor….I got to wear a mask and everything. The doctor then introduced me to cough syrup with codeine….) and I can usually tell him what’s wrong with me. Tomorrow I get a different doctor because mine is all booked up. That’s rare for him.

The husband won’t even let me exercise today. I’ll need to double up on running and weights tomorrow. I don’t want to be too far behind.

And hopefully I’ll feel better.

I want to feel like Tony the Tiger….GRRRRRRRRREAT!!!
