It’s true. Jason’s almost home. In fact, his phone is turned off (he reactivated his phone when he landed stateside this morning – so family, start calling!) and he should be on his plane in Atlanta. He’ll be in Asheville in less than 90 minutes (hopefully.)

Pictures to come. This is going to be a busy weekend!!

In case you didn’t get my email blast…

Kenny and I will be running our races on Saturday – Kenny the half, and me the full marathon. According to the paperwork we received, everyone should be able to follow us online:

Friends and family can follow your progress even if they are not at the race. LiveResults offers exclusive coverage of every runner’s progress with times recorded at the 5K, 10K, and 10-mile marks for all runners and the marathoners will also have times recorded at the 13.1 and 20 mile marks. Updates will be sent to the LiveResults site every 60 seconds. Just visit www.cmmarathon.com and click on the LiveResults bug on the home page during the race and you will never be out of touch.

So, on Saturday, go over to cmmarathon.com and look for LiveResults on the front of their site.

Kenny’s number is 24471
Jaime’s number is 12230

Because of the number of people running this race, we will not be starting at 7 a.m. It will most likely be around 7:30 before we get out. We’re corralled…like cattle. And, we’ll start every 90 seconds to two minutes. Kenny hopes to finish his race in about 2 hours. Jaime…under 5 hours. And, no trips to the ER.

So, there you have it. Think positive, fast thoughts for us on Saturday!
