(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Splashing around

We tried to go to Splasheville on Saturday, but it was closed. We instead recreated a splash pad in our back yard and someone had a blast.

ย If you have young kids (or maybe even grown kids!), have you made it to a splash pad this summer? We’ve only been once, right after the Color Run, and I was planning on going a lot! What are you doing to soak up the last little bit of summer that remains?

He is way too cute. What kid doesn’t love an afternoon of splashing around in the water?

We’ve tried doing splash pads in our area a few times but they’re too busy and loud for my kiddo so we make our own with sprinklers and little pools

I don’t know what Splashville is, but it looks like you made it work (and for a lot less dough).

We’ll be spending the last bit of summer out by the pool. That’s about the only place to be when it’s 100 degrees outside.

No splash pads for us this year. I have no idea where they even are. We live in a rural area and I don’t know of any around here. I am pretty sure when kiddo travels with others for little trips they visit them.

We usually set up our pool during the summer but we moved this summer and couldn’t. We instead bought some water guns and had a ton of fun with those. We also went to an amusement park and the water rides were what my daughter loved most.
