ambitious Sunday?

I’m not sure if we were really that ambitious today. I had to work first thing this morning (going into work unexpectedly on the weekend is never fun) and I did our grocery shopping right after that. I managed to remember to snag a bunch of boxes from the grocery store (they’re great for books), but I lost motivation to pack as soon as I got home.

After lunch, we headed out for the rest of our errands….Mr. K’s to sell some of our DVDs, Target for some random shopping, Bed, Bath & Beyond to return a soap dispenser that broke today and then to the mall….I had one store I needed to buy a Christmas gift at and I thought we could go over to JCPenney to check out coats for the husband. After an hour at the mall, we did walk out with one (and I later realized it would be 60% off on Friday, but neither of us wants to deal with the crowd.)

I packed more stuff tonight. I packed a lot of the bedroom, and a portion of our hall closet and pantry area (there’s a portion of the pantry that’s not food.) The living room is quickly filling up with boxes. It’s a good feeling, but I wish that packing was easier and faster!

We’re 12 days away from closing on our house. How crazy is that?
