another week down.

I’m happy to have this week (almost) behind us. We’re driving to Chattanooga this weekend to see our really good friends who moved back there in December. I miss seeing them on an almost weekly basis, and this weekend is much-needed.

Poor Chloe is NOT happy to see me packing. She always knows what’s about to happen when I get a bag or suitcase out of the closet or basement. Poor kitty. Good thing is she’ll only be alone for one day. And we have people checking in on her, so she won’t be alone for that entire time. (We really do have the neediest cat ever. And I love her for that.)

I’ve had a few tough days at work – especially over the past couple of weeks. Rather than stir things up with any co-workers, I’ve resorted to hiding in my office over the last few days. And can I just mention that I miss some of my former co-workers who have moved onto bigger, better things? Some of my former co-workers are several of my close friends and I miss having them in the office. Just saying.

And let’s continue the randomness…..the Herb Festival is going on this weekend and I’m a little bummed that we planned our out of town trip, because I can list at least five things I want to buy for our garden. Guess I’ll have to wait or get my mom to swing by for me. 🙂

One final random note. I have my Hawaii luau photos edited and uploaded. I just haven’t posted them. They’re some of the best pictures I took in Hawaii. Not sure why it’s taking me so long to post them!

How’s your Friday going?

Travel safe and have a good time. Sorry your worklife has been gloomy lately! Having people you like around does make a huge difference!

I miss you, too, Jaime! (Though maybe you weren’t talking about me because I don’t know that I moved onto bigger things. Unless you count watching the Leap Frog Letter Factory video four times a day as bigger. I also reattached a doll’s amputated leg today.)
