April {2017} goals
I actually started a post for March goals, and even mentioned I wanted to post April goals earlier and really get it together. Guess who doesn’t have it together yet? (hint: this girl.) It’s still early(ish) in the month, and I still have things to do. So let’s do them!
Fitness – Run 50 miles this month. I have challenged myself to 100 days of running. So far, I’ve done eight days. This is totally do-able, right? I need to run at least a mile a day to achieve my goal, and hopefully I’ll continue it long after July. As for the 50 miles this month, I think I’ll hit it.
Books – Read more, find a new author. I’m stuck in my favorites and I don’t always branch out, but on the other hand I’m also running out of books to read.
Family – At least one family outing each weekend. We went to Biltmore two weekends ago and this past weekend we went to Grandfather Mountain and the Knoxville Zoo. This weekend may not include an outing, but we are having a party for my favorite (almost) one-year-old!
Food – Continue to work on our meal planning and budget for food. I primarily shopped at Aldi this past weekend and it was fantastic! I’m loving their selections right now.
Diet – I’m tracking food and down a few pounds already, so I’m hoping this can be a longer term thing. I want to feel good in my clothes again. And I want to not hurt so much when I work out. So. Food is being tracked.
Planning – Use my planner daily! I have a bad habit of not using my planner when I’m at home. Also, I need to pull of two parties this month. A birthday party and a Disney Preschool Playdate. No big deal.
Health – I want to start using essential oils more. My friends use them often (and my friend Susanna sells them) and I think our family would benefit from them.
