{almost} wordless Wednesday: Baby shower edition
My friends threw a small shower this past to welcome this baby girl. We intentionally invited a small number of people and I’m so glad we went with a smaller group. It wasn’t chaotic, I was able to catch up with friends I haven’t seen in a while and my friends generally get along well with each other (even when they didn’t know the other guests.)
I took just a few photos. The shower was at Asheville Pizza & Brewing (so fun!) and was as low key as I’d hoped.
A look at my friends (note in the group photo we are missing a couple of people. The person who took the photo used my mom’s camera, and when he went to use my phone, I think some people thought he was done.) Also, I have a few other photos of me with individuals (like Julie!) but I didn’t save them to my computer yet.
And handmade gifts. My friend Stephanie made the basket of “babies” and my mom made the lovey and cardigan set.
Of course, there was more food than cupcakes, but I only have a photo of the cupcake.
I think all baby showers should be small now. Gone are the days I want to hang with dozens of people at one time. I really enjoy smaller groups!
What a wonderful baby shower! I think it was perfect for you. AND those cupcakes???!! Yummy!
Oh, yum! And so sweet! Looks like it was the perfect cozy party to celebrate you and baby girl. š
