Our little girl turned 4 months old this past week, is still the happiest girl on the block.
I’ve noticed her hair is starting to come in again (she lost some a few weeks after she was born) and it’s dark brown. Still no teeth, but she’s chewing everything she can. This week she’s shown us how she can shove her whole fist in her mouth – and she’s working on grabbing her feet.
She grabs things with intention now, which is cool to watch. She has noticed Chloe, and I’m waiting for the day she grabs Chloe’s tail. Hopefully Chloe will be kind.
Do not mess with her sleep. Her sleep schedule was thrown off one day last week and she slept ALL day the following day. She would have slept through her feedings, if given the chance.
She sleeps from around 7 pm to 6 or 7 am. Then she goes back to sleep until we wake her in the morning (or until we notice she’s talking to herself.) She has her 4 month check-up (and shots) next week so we’ll have her measurements then. I know that she could have solids right now, but I think we’re going to hold off until closer to 6 months – just as we did with her brother.
And for an outtake from her little photo session:
She’s becoming distractable. 🙂
