Baby update {week 10}
This week was huge for our little girl. She had her two-month well visit on Tuesday, and she slept 12 hours two nights last week!
The girl hates shots (who can blame her?) and they really did a number on her smiling personality that day. Her appointment was at 9 a.m. and we didn’t smiles from her until 7 p.m. when I was getting her ready for bed. It was really sad.
She weighed 11 pounds, 10.5 ounces and was 22 inches long. She’s in a size 1 diaper, and right now she’s in 0-3 month clothes, but many of her sleepers and onesies are too small, so we will be moving up soon.
She’s such a great sleeper and eater. She’s still 100% breastfeeding and has no issues. I’ve been freezing milk for when I go back to work. I’m feeling pretty good about where we are right now. I’m hoping we’re as successful as I was with my son.
She’s discovering her hands. She has started grabbing toys when laying on her activity mat, and occasionally when she’s in her car seat or swing. She has also discovered her thumb, and if I lay her down on her activity mat to play, she has no problem popping her thumb in her mouth and going back to sleep.
She is incredibly smiley. And, no, it’s not just gas. She genuinely smiles and it’s the sweetest thing ever.
Her brother adores her, and she likes watching him. She’s such a great baby!
