{baby update} week 15
Remember how last week I didn’t quite look pregnant in my photos? It was awesome. And apparently short-lived.
How far along am I: 15 Weeks
Size of baby: McLittle is the size of an orange
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I’ve gained 9 pounds since mid-December
Clothes: Since I’ve been off from work this week, I’ve been wearing a lot of workout clothes. (Yoga pants are still my best friend.)
Gender: Ultrasound is scheduled for March 30.
Movement: None to speak of yet.
Sleep: Sleep has been good to me during my week off, and I’ve managed to take lots of afternoon naps. Chloe likes those too.
What I miss: I miss clothes fitting properly and running.
Cravings: Pineapple. The fresh kind. I actually bought some that said it was fresh on the package (produce section of our grocery store) and it wasn’t. I considered buying a pineapple yesterday, but who am I kidding? I don’t know how to cut one, or core it.
Symptoms: The nausea hit again before my doctor’s appointment on Wednesday, and I’ve been EXHAUSTED this week. I can’t seem to catch up on sleep, even though I’m sleeping enough at night.
Best moment this week: A few good moments. I heard the heartbeat yesterday (160) and my mom asked if I had gained any weight. (That just means I’ve been good at hiding the weight gain.)
This week’s photo was taken just a few moments ago when I asked Kenny, “If I put on real clothes, will you take this photo I don’t really want to take?” Unfortunately (for you), I haven’t done anything with my hair today and makeup has also been ignored. The world is lucky I took off the sweatshirt.
I have no (more) words.
I have a word…adorable!
Yes, adorable. And 100% perfectly normal. You do look great, without makeup, hairs did, and no sweatshirt.
