McLittle now has a pediatrician. He’ll have insurance as soon as he’s born (as my insurance company has officially been contacted.) And we have three (or so) weeks to go. I should probably pack a bag for the hospital soon.
How far along am I: 37 Weeks.
Size of baby: McLittle probably weighs around 6.5 pounds. He is roughly 20 inches long.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 34 pounds.
Clothes: Shoes are not my friend. And my shirts are getting just a bit shorter.
Gender: We’re having a boy!
Movement: He’s flipping back and forth. Late at night, you can watch the movements and it looks like waves. A little creepy. He’s getting bigger and a little more uncomfortable (for me.)
Sleep: I’m waking up now once a night. It isn’t terrible, and most nights I wake up because Chloe is waking me up. Something in the universe is off, and it’s causing my cat to act a little crazier.
What I miss: Well-fitting clothes.
Cravings: I haven’t really had many cravings. Some days I want watermelon. Other days I just want pasta. I can’t eat a ton of food these days.
Symptoms: The swollen feet have hit me. It started with just my left foot a week ago, and started with my left side (my hand and foot – even my wrist.) Both of my feet swell, if I’m not careful and my hands are getting a little more stiff.
Best moment this week: The clothes are all washed and put away! The baby has more clothes for his first six months than I’ve had in the past few years. It’s quite the collection.
