This sweet girl is waking up and beginning to keep us on our toes – yet she’s still very mellow and calm.
A week ago she weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce. She eats often and while she has her moments of spitting up, it’s not as bad as her brother’s episodes almost 5 years ago. I still set my alarm at night to wake her, but after this week I may stop doing that. She’s waking every 3-4 hours at night, usually on her own. I do wake her between 11 and 12 to nurse.
Morning naps are taken in her crib. In the afternoon, she prefers to be held. This is a sweet problem to have, but occasionally I want to sleep too, and I can’t if I’m holding her.
She’s in a size 1 diaper (has been since week 3.) Newborn clothes do not fit, and we didn’t get through the several outfits we did have.
She’s beginning to focus more on people and objects in the room. She’s fascinated by the mobile that is now hanging over her crib.
