beach, part 2
No updates yesterday. I was consumed by the last Harry Potter book (I have started it over and over, and finally made it past the second chapter.) There was also the four hours spent on the beach, the 20 minute run (down the street, not the beach because of high tide), lounging at the pool…
So, you can see that I’ve been busy being lazy. Yep. I’m finally being lazy. Sort of.
This morning, I woke up before 7, grabbed my camera and headed to the beach to see the sunrise. Good thing I did. I haven’t seen the sun since then. It’s VERY cloudy today. Not rain cloudy, just cool cloudy.
Here’s a photo from this morning:
After the photo shoot of the sun (which, I have a ton of other pics, just not on the proper camera), I spent an hour reading. I’m determined to finish the Harry Potter book. I want to be caught up with the rest of the world. I also ran for 30 minutes. This time, I ran on the beach and it. was. awesome. So peaceful, so easy to run. Very little impact on my legs, and I ignored the splotches of sunburnt skin….like the tops of my feet. Ouch.
And now it’s almost 10:15, and I think the plan is to head into Charleston for part of the day. I think I see the sun trying to break through the clouds.
And one last thing…happy birthday to Tom and his 8-year-old daughter Lucy!!
thank you. come by for some Pikachu cake!
