I did an interview with Stephen Kellogg on Friday afternoon. I have followed his music career for many years and when he was playing in Asheville a few months ago, I had the opportunity to talk to one of his bandmates. It was fun, but I wanted to talk to Stephen this time around. I had met him years ago and told him I’d cover him. He just had to come to Asheville. I think this trip counts (he opened for Hanson in May – I don’t think that fully counts.)

The Massachusetts native rocks. I don’t think he has a song I don’t like, and he’s all about a good charity. He told me that the guys hope to make it over to Iraq next summer to perform for the troops. That’s because he’s an all around great guy.
