Tonight I mentioned that we needed to schedule our baby classes soon. (As in, I’m calling them tomorrow.) There’s one that’s 6 weeks that I’d prefer – or we can cram it all into one weekend.
The husband reminded me that between now and the end of August, there aren’t 6 weeks that he’s here consecutively. Where in the world did the summer go?
Oh yeah. His job. (Even though he works in education, he doesn’t really get summers off.)
So it looks like we’re going to have to cram everything into one weekend – and hope that we can get a weekend we’d prefer. There’s a lot going on between him traveling, a wedding in New York, baby showers and getting ready for McLittle to make his appearance.
We do have a few things to look forward to (besides overpriced classes.) I did manage to get the husband Elvis Costello tickets a couple of weeks ago for his birthday, and this morning I bought tickets for us to see Mumford & Sons in Asheville in June. Big shows for a big summer.
I’m ready for a relaxing vacation already.
