I’m beginning to think that Mondays are just not my thing. I thought I was having a decent Monday when I did my 30-day Shred DVD (I started back last week. My arms need help, and it’s a good addition to my running routine.) Following the workout, the day started to go downhill. That seemed kind of difficult since it was only 6:30 a.m.
I somehow forgot my phone at the house. I went to call it, just to be sure it wasn’t buried in my purse, only to find out that my work phone was dead. When I finally got to work (late) I found out that someone deleted several hours worth of work I had done on Friday. It was accidental, but I REALLY don’t have time to re-do anything.
I’m now staring at a tub of cookie dough (yep, you read that right, a TUB that I bought for a co-worker’s kid’s fundraiser) and wondering if I should start eating the raw cookie dough because it’s oh-so-good and would make me feel oh-so-better….for about five minutes. The tub of cookie dough contains 48 servings. It’s the equivalent of 5280 calories, and I don’t think I worked off that many calories in 25 minutes this morning.
For now, I’ll go back to my Nalgene bottle full of water and leave the cookie dough alone.
