Capturing autumn
This week’s You Capture topic was autumn. And we had to be creative about it…so I tried. With angles and subjects.
I went to a Gourd Gala on Sunday. I don’t get points for best photo with this one, but how unique is this pumpkin (which also served as a pot for beef stew?)
I’m not going to show you this entire tree, just a sky shot – before rain took all of the leaves away. Oh, and now I have to rake all of said leaves. That’s very autumn-like.
I pass some really cool trees on my way to work – here you can see some bright colors, and one tree that has unfortunately already lost its leaves. (Oh, and I was driving when I took this.)
And I love catching leaves mid-color change.
Do you love fall like I do? What’s your favorite part?

Beautiful captures!!
Wow, what is on the pumpkin, a glaze? I’ve never seen one that looked like that!
I don’t think there was anything on the pumpkin – it was cleaned out, and a vegetable/beef stew replaced it’s insides. It was then placed in the oven for a while. I love it, though. My friend makes the stew every year now for her pumpkin carving party!
Beautiful! Love the shot with the tree and the blue sky!!
I love the pumpkin picture the best š Wit I like the first one of the tree and blue sky too:-)
that is a very unique pumpkin, for sure!
and i do love fall, too. my favorite part is the clothes. i like jeans and hoodies. š
I bet the pumpkin added some unique flavor to the stew. Interesting…I’ve never heard of doing that before.
Beautiful shots!
