capturing flowers
I love flowers. And I really love photos of flowers (since they last so much longer than the flowers in my yard.) I was so happy to see that flowers were the focus of this week’s You Capture challenge. My trumpet flowers are dying (hopefully they’ll be back next year) so I couldn’t shoot that, but I do have some great fall flowers now that it’s officially fall, and if you’re looking for flower bulbs for this fall season have a look over at https://www.brecks.com/category/fall/a and see if you can find flowers that could go well with your garden.
My zinnias. I love these. They sit in pots on our front porch.
I bought mums at Lowes this week, but I think I need to go back for these daisies:
From my mom’s garden. Her roses are so bright! (The darker photo was taken with flash.) And the yellow mums really stand out.
What pretty flowers do you have to show me this week?
Those are all so beautiful. But I have a great love of daisies.
ooh, I love the beautiful shade of orange you’ve captured.
Great shots!!! I love the first two!
That first zinnia and the daisies are my favorites but all your captures are beautiful. And, I love the variety. Nice!
Zinnias are definitely in my top five favorite flowers!
I love all of the bright colors!
Zinnias & daisies are sooo pretty! I must go check out the mums and buy some for my porch. Beautiful shots.
I love the coloring of that first flower! Great shots!
