capturing in the kitchen
This week’s You Capture focus was “in the kitchen.” Here’s the thing. I’ve posted photos of my kitchen before. Our kitchen is TINY, so I went with up-close shots of what was in my kitchen briefly (and one not-so-brief item.) I was busy in the kitchen this week, so this topic was kind of fun for me!
First, I picked a ton of blueberries from my mom’s garden (again) and these were being soaked in the sink:
Then I needed to do something with those blueberries, so I attempted a cobbler. This is what remained (notice that I had way more blueberries than crust, and I obviously didn’t use self-rising flour, but it apparently didn’t affect the taste.)
This is the inside of a Black Prince tomato that I picked from the garden (before the rabbits or squirrels could get to it!)
And this is a plant I’m trying to re-root, as I kind of killed it once. It lives on our windowsill for right now.
How about you? What’s in your kitchen?
I have dirty dishes, and tomatoes in my kitchen. I need to make salsa or can them before it gets too late.
Your cobbler still looks good.
Right now, i have dirty dished in my kitchen too.
My mouth is watering right now, that cobbler looks delicious!
Blueberry cobbler… nom!! (At first I wasn’t sure what the first pic was, LOL!)
I love the first picture of the blueberries under water! I think it’s worthy of a frame to hang in your kitchen! š
Yum! I just made a peach cobbler myself.
Cute pics! My kitchen is mainly small….and friendly!

Blueberries are my favorite. Absolute favorite.
