capturing silence

This week has been anything but silent, with the exception of a few moments. You can imagine the difficulty I had when trying to capture the silence (oh and Halloween.).

I took my family to Beaver Lake in north Asheville. I love the reflection of the mountains in the lake.

The ducks were trying to enjoy a silent moment of rest.

Chloe needs complete silence when on the hunt (even when she’s on her leash.)

And for the Halloween portion – I got the silent treatment after I put this costume on the cat.

She also wasn’t a fan of the pumpkin costume.

  1. I love it when lakes are so still you get a beautiful reflection. And even though you got the silent treatment, don’t stop tormenting Pumpkin, I mean Chloe. She’s so cute!

  2. I’m not sure I’d have any skin left on my hands if I tried to put either one of my daughter’s cats in a costume.

    Your lake photos are BEAUTIFUL!
