capturing silence

This week has been anything but silent, with the exception of a few moments. You can imagine the difficulty I had when trying to capture the silence (oh and Halloween.).
I took my family to Beaver Lake in north Asheville. I love the reflection of the mountains in the lake.
The ducks were trying to enjoy a silent moment of rest.
Chloe needs complete silence when on the hunt (even when she’s on her leash.)
And for the Halloween portion – I got the silent treatment after I put this costume on the cat.
She also wasn’t a fan of the pumpkin costume.
I’m pretty sure she’d disown me, if she could.
That first picture of the lake is perfect for “silence”!
I tried putting my cat on a leash once, we were moving and decided to stop at Dinosaur World and couldn’t leave him in the car, and he just wasn’t having it! 😛
The cat in the Halloween costume is too funny!
beautiful silence captured! Love the lake photo.
Your first shot is silence by definition. Great shot!
So funny, next year I want to put my cat in a costume!
I love it when lakes are so still you get a beautiful reflection. And even though you got the silent treatment, don’t stop tormenting Pumpkin, I mean Chloe. She’s so cute!
Love love your first shot! Great job!
your first shot is gorgeous!
I’m not sure I’d have any skin left on my hands if I tried to put either one of my daughter’s cats in a costume.
Your lake photos are BEAUTIFUL!
The lake looks lovely, but the cat makes me giggle.
Great photo of Chloe on the hunt!
Great way to tie both themes together. The lake shot is so calming.
The lake looks so peaceful
