a cat visitor

We have a kitty visitor! This cat has shown up in our yard and driveway on several occasions, and last week he started showing up in the tree in our front yard.

Apparently the tree is a comfortable place to nap. I mean, it has the perfect spot to rest, it’s shady, it gets a nice breeze. And nobody can bother him. (I did try to pet his tail, he meowed at me, yanked his tail away and closed his eyes again.)

So, meet Leon (what we’re calling him.)

We took Chloe out on a harness yesterday, and put her near Leon. She hissed. He went back to sleep. I so wish he didn’t have an owner, and we could bring him inside. As I know more about Leon and his owners, I’ll be sure to update you.
