charged up

I think we’re all charged up and ready for this whirlwind weekend trip to New York! We’ll be gone exactly 50 hours (from the time we leave our house, etc. From the first flight this afternoon to our flight that lands on Sunday, we’ll be gone exactly 48 hours.)

I can’t believe I’m going to attempt this trip in my condition at 31 weeks pregnant. I can barely stay awake past 10 p.m. these days, so I’m lucky that I got to sleep in a bit this morning, because I so needed the extra rest.

Cameras are charged, phones are charged (did I mention I got an iPhone? It’s my secondary phone – to check work things. And I’m still not completely sold on it.) And the laptop is charged, though it’s still not decided if we’re taking it. We have a little over an hour to decide that. On the non-tech side of things, I have my new Real Simple magazine and a new book to read (which I won about a week ago, but have been wanting to read for a while) – both purposely saved this week for this trip and next weekend’s trip. No room to get bored!

I think we’re ready. At least, I hope we’re ready.
