We have a new daily ritual that involves the cat. Every morning, we now play with her (as we’re eating breakfast or right after) and her fishing pole. Within the past two weeks, my husband has found it funny to run through the house with the fishing pole and see if Chloe will chase him. (She does. Every time.)
Often, the chasing takes place as I’m in another room and I just see him run by – and then her. It’s quite amusing. And I caught it on video this morning, while I was cooking.
Notice her slow walk the second time. As if to say she’s too good to be chasing a man and a fish. 🙂

She must have known that you were filming. Cats have egos that must be protected. No losing cool points by chasing a man with a fish.
