On Friday, I brought you a look at the Biltmore tree raising…and today, in joint efforts with Susanna over at Zealous Mom, you have a chance to attend Christmas at Biltmore…for free!

Better yet, we’re giving away two sets of tickets.

Christmas at Biltmore began Friday and continues through January 3, 2015. The house is decorated for the holidays and boasts 60 Christmas trees throughout the 250-room home! When visiting the Estate, I’d allow for the majority of a day to take in as much as possible. The tour of the home can take a couple of hours. (It really depends on how long you linger in each room….and you aren’t seeing every single room.)

If touring a historical home is not your thing, there is a wide array of activities you can do on the Biltmore Estate:

  • explore the grounds
  • hike or bike
  • take a segway tour!
  • visit Antler Hill Village and do a bit of shopping
  • eat lunch or dinner at one of their many restaurants
  • tour the winery
  • do a wine tasting
  • visit a farm
  • and even let the kids play on the playground!

We have annual passes and visit several times a year. My son loves the playground and the farm animals. I’ve run several races on the Estate grounds, and we’ve eaten lunch there a few times. (Random fact…my Junior prom was held at Deerpark, a restaurant on Biltmore property.)

Now, the fun part. Enter to win a set of tickets to Biltmore! (Keep reading, if you’re not able to visit Asheville. We’re not leaving you out!)

P.S. If you aren’t able to visit Biltmore because of distance, don’t let that deter you from entering the giveaway. We’re also giving away a Biltmore ornament and gift card. Just let us know in the Blog Comment entry in Rafflecopter if you can or cannot visit Biltmore in the next 6 months.

  1. Thank you for allowing me to enter. In the past year I’ve lost my husband, an uncle, my Dad on April 26th and his sister on September 28th. I’ve been taking care of mom who had hip replacement in March. My husband & I used to go to Biltmore twice a year for years but was always unable to go during Christmas. I’ve seen the Beautiful Festival of Flowers and would love to enjoy the beauty of Christmas at Biltmore. Thank you & God Bless!

  2. We went for a family trip to the Biltmore about 3 years ago. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long. It’s a beautiful place and we had a great time touring the house and the winery, and doing a raft ride down the river. Our nephew works there so we also got treated to a nice dinner at one of the restaurants.

  3. I’ve only been once and it was a trip with just my husband before we had kids. Now, I’d love to take the kids to experience it which would also definitely mean a trip to the playground and probably a farm. 🙂 Thanks for a chance to win tickets!

  4. We went to the Biltmore House during their fall harvest one year. It was such an exciting time for the whole family. Christmas at the Biltmore sounds like it would be amazing.

  5. I got an invitation to the tree raising, too, but couldn’t make it. 🙁 It’s been years since I’ve been to Biltmore and would love to take our son. This is a great giveaway! Thanks for the chance!

  6. I don’t foresee us visiting (we live in Michigan) though I would love to (visit). I have put entries in though, for the ornament.
    Thank you for hosting!

  7. Yes, we can travel to Asheville if I won. I’d love to tour Biltmore as well as visit the winery and dine in one of the restaurants.

  8. My friend was literally just telling me about the Biltmore! It seems like it would be so magically to go, I definitely entered the contest ::crosses fingers::

  9. I’ve lived here more than five years and STILL haven’t visited the Biltmore. I’d love to see it at Christmas, do a little hiking (as long as there’s not too much snow) and a little wining.

  10. I would love to go to the Biltmore, but unfortunately we live too far away. I love just going on the tour of the house and grounds.

  11. This is such a great giveaway, looks like a fun place to see. I know this is too far for me, but would make a good road trip some day. Thanks for sharing!

  12. I’d love to take my daughter there! She’s wanted to visit for ages. She thinks Biltmore looks like a castle! I’d love to hit the winery again!
