It took my son some time, but this past year he finally got on board with trains. He saw a wooden set at a local toy store last fall and fell in love. We bought a used set from a friend of mine, and it’s been one of the greatest purchases ever. (Chuggington, Thomas, my boy doesn’t discriminate when it comes to trains!)
In January I was downtown near the US Cellular Center and happened to be stopped at a light so I could read the signs of what was coming soon. Gone are the days that I was totally psyched to see Elton John or another big act coming to our city. I saw that Chuggington Live! was coming in April and I couldn’t get parked fast enough to call my husband.
The Great Rescue Adventure will be at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Tuesday, April 21. Show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets range from $12.50 to $50.50 and are still available.
From the looks of the video, there will be interactive trains, videos, music and plenty of fun. I’m not sure who will be more excited – me or my boy?
We haven’t told our boy that we’re going yet. I think his mind will be blown.
