Cinnamon Swirl Beer Bread Recipe
In a time where everyone seems to be making bread, how about trying this cinnamon swirl beer bread recipe? It’s only 4 ingredients making this a fairly simple recipe for the entire family.
My kids and I love baking and my youngest is finally able to help more in the kitchen. Since this recipe is just four ingredients, she can help mix, as long as I do the measuring. (She really is a great helper!)
During pandemic times, we were looking for new meals, treats or baked goods to try at home – and this is a great one for the weekend.
Ingredients for Cinnamon Swirl Beer Bread
- 2 2/3 C Self Rising Flour

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a loaf pan
- Using a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and two tablespoons of cinnamon
- Whisk in the beer until combined
- Using a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the remaining two tablespoons of cinnamon
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan
- Swirl the cinnamon mix into the batter in the pan
- Pour remaining batter onto the top of the cinnamon swirl
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until cooked through. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
- Slice and enjoy!
You can also make this recipe and give away loaves of the bread as a housewarming gift, or if a friend needs food dropped off. Sometimes I’ll make what I consider a dessert bread and freeze it for later use. I love baking. I don’t always need the bread in my house, though.
This beer bread is really soft and I love, love, love cinnamon. I think this might be best in fall, but that’s typically when I find myself baking bread and cookies. You don’t have to wait until fall to bake this! Try it this weekend. For sure.
