Cleaning with Norwex

A few weeks ago, a friend mentioned she was going to a Norwex party. I had no idea what she was talking about and Google’d the brand to see what they were all about. She thought it was something I’d really be into because it’s an eco-friendly cleaning products company. They use as few chemicals as possible, and their cloths really work wonders. And she was right. I’m totally into Norwex.

When Mendie decided to become a consultant, I told her I would definitely have a party because one, I needed a few more items (I bought the household package, and now I think I need the Enviro Wand. Or the mop.) Two, the dusting mitt is AMAZING. I never dust. I hate dusting. And when I do, I hate spraying anything (we have one furniture polish that makes our furniture so greasy. It’s disgusting.) The dusting mitt is genius, though. As long as my surfaces are clear, I can just wipe my hand (with the mitt on, of course) across the television stand and clean it. This weekend I used some of my Method cleaner and it still worked like a charm. (Norwex has their own line of cleaning agents. I haven’t purchased those yet, but I have some laundry detergent to try out.)

I have this:

I want this:

My son colored on our coffee table. And when he colors, he DIGS his crayons into the paper or furniture that he’s coloring on. And it took me a couple of minutes to figure out just what he was doing. It gave me a chance to try out my Enviro Cloth. I used NO cleaning agents, just the cloth, and it wiped away all of the crayon. I wouldn’t lie to you about these things. Do you know how many paper towels I’m going to save? Not to mention the money we’ll be saving (and my allergies in spring! I’ll dust more!)

And to teach my toddler the beauty (and fun) of cleaning, I so want the kid’s dusting mitt. The dish mat looks crazy cool (we always have towels lining our counters, even though we also have a dish rack that folds and is under our sink.) Oh and I have the window cloth. I’m considering getting the smaller one for the toddler (he loves touching the windows, and wouldn’t it be great if he was contributing to the cleaning?)

So now I’m hosting a virtual Norwex party, and I’m inviting you to join in on the fun! There are a few customer specials this month (think body care – like the towel set – and a dish set that includes a scrubbing sponge that I also now own.) Or you could try one of their collections (that’s how I started out.)

There may also be another special deal, but you have to email me or Mendie to get that info (it’s not for the entire world wide web to know.) If you want to join the Facebook event, let me know.

Seriously, though, my husband has been interested in these products and even complimented my dusting today. I’m excited about the cloth cleaning kid messes and I may clean our windows tomorrow. It’s about to get crazy up in here!

Disclosure: This isn’t a sponsored post. I believe in the products I’ve purchased and I just want to spread the love. I may receive a discount on some products, but only if a lot of people also purchase Norwex through this party. I promise you’ll love any of the above-mentioned items. And while these products are fantastic, they will not clean your house for you (they’ll just help.) They’re also cheaper than hiring a housekeeper.
