A few minutes after I finished last night’s blog post, I remembered where my curtains and curtain rod attachments were. In an extra closet downstairs (we do have extra closets. It’s a little weird for a girl like me who likes to fill them up with random stuff.) So I hung our curtains in the office last night…at 10:30 p.m.
Must be something about the office this week. Tonight I made headway on the clutter on my desk. I have spent the past two hours shredding documents, recycling and filing. One more night of organizing and hanging some shelves and my bulletin board, and I can call it a day in here. Pictures are coming. I promise. The husband won’t let me touch his desk, though, and right now it looks way worse than mine.
As promised, pictures of the living room rearrangement of 2009 (June 2009, at least.) We really just reversed the room. I know you’re thinking to yourself, “how many ways can these people rearrange oversized furniture in a small space like that?” I’m here to tell you there are several ways and we’re going to experiment with the couch in each corner of the room, if the husband has his way.
So many things to share with you. I scored some really cute curtain rods at Target today for $3.74 a piece. I bought a set for the guest room and the master bedroom. I hope to get the guest room set up this week. I also have several ideas for our rec room (the extra room downstairs.)
On other notes, I’ve been thinking about our trip to New York. I can’t believe we leave in almost a week. I’ve yet to think about really packing. I need to email all (or, rather, most) family members involved and let them know of our plans. Lots to do and I’d almost rather not think about it.
And now I’m going to think myself right into bed. Have a good night 🙂
