Dinosaur thank you cards #12projects12months
This is another quick and cute project I completed weeks ago (it took me longer to get the cards IN THE MAIL. I’m a slacker, and the cards were in my purse foreverrrrrr.)
My son’s birthday party was August 31. It was a dinosaur theme, and I decided to (quickly) make thank you cards.
I used green or blue card stock (I ran out of green, switched to blue) for the back of the card. I just bought a cute stamp set (bought it used) that included the Dinosaur stamp. The thank you so much came from the Delightful Dozen kit from Stampin’ Up. (It’s also a retired set.)
I also used washi tape to divide the card. Because….washi. I love washi.
The inside of the card has another cream colored card stock and no stamping. Just enough space for me to write the thank you note.
This is the ninth completed project in my quest to do 12 this year! Iām a little behind in posting, but I have been hard at work on several things! See project 1 | project 2 | project 3 | project 4 | project 5 | project 6 | project 7 | project 8 in previous posts.
These are adorable. So easy to make and they look great.
Super cute cards. I love that you customized them to match your party.
Adorable. I love to scrapbbok and making cards would be a much easier way to use the supplies and make someone’s day!
How cute and I like how easy they were to make. I will have to try using Washi Tape for my next project.
Those are adorable! So simple too! I’m sure the party was a big success! Good luck with the rest of your projects!
NO WAY! That is the cutest thing ever. I love how it came out.
Adorable! I love making cards, and have really just gotten into it, so I’m always looking for new ideas and products. These are now on my to-do list (Thank you cards, maybe not dinosaurs lol)
I’m also like you in that it often takes me longer to actually mail the things. So forgetful!
*Popping over from the FB group to say hi and kudos!
That turned out great. I love getting personal, homemade things like this!
Very cute!
That is cute. Really crafty.
This is so crafty! Turned out awesome!
These are so adorable! We’d loved getting ours in the mail. You are so very crafty.
How cute! These are very adorable and fun! Would be very neat to give!
Your dino card is adorable. My boys love all things dinosaur and would be all about getting one of these in the mail – or sending out a few themselves.
Those are so cute! Love the creativity with the dinosaurs.
I love handmade cards! My son love dinosaurs too š
These are really cute. I used to be really good about making homemade cards and present tags. I need to get back to that.
I have so many rolls of washi! I need to find a use for it!
Everyone does love washi. I have never used it, but I know so many people love it. I’m going to have to give it a try. š
That is so cute. My daughter really used to be into dinosaurs, particularly the big purple one named Barney!
These cards are so adorable! Great job ~
Who doesn’t love washi tape? lol This is a really cute idea and opens the door to so many other ideas. Thanks!
I used to love making cards and scrapbooking with my grandmother, once she passed I stopped doing it, but seeing posts like this make me feel inspired all over again! Came out super cute! š
So adorable! I love easy DIY projects like this. I love making and giving cards as gifts.
I could actually do this myself, and I don’t consider myself super creative. I do however, love making crafts regardless of my talent!
Very cute! I”m planning my son’s birthday now. Thanks for the thank you card DIY idea.
