This is another quick and cute project I completed weeks ago (it took me longer to get the cards IN THE MAIL. I’m a slacker, and the cards were in my purse foreverrrrrr.)

My son’s birthday party was August 31. It was a dinosaur theme, and I decided to (quickly) make thank you cards.

I used green or blue card stock (I ran out of green, switched to blue) for the back of the card. I just bought a cute stamp set (bought it used) that included the Dinosaur stamp. The thank you so much came from the Delightful Dozen kit from Stampin’ Up. (It’s also a retired set.)

I also used washi tape to divide the card. Because….washi. I love washi.

The inside of the card has another cream colored card stock and no stamping. Just enough space for me to write the thank you note.

This is the ninth completed project in my quest to do 12 this year! Iā€™m a little behind in posting, but I have been hard at work on several things! See project 1 | project 2 | project 3 | project 4 | project 5 | project 6 | project 7 | project 8 in previous posts.

  1. Those are adorable! So simple too! I’m sure the party was a big success! Good luck with the rest of your projects!

  2. Adorable! I love making cards, and have really just gotten into it, so I’m always looking for new ideas and products. These are now on my to-do list (Thank you cards, maybe not dinosaurs lol)
I’m also like you in that it often takes me longer to actually mail the things. So forgetful!

*Popping over from the FB group to say hi and kudos!

  3. Your dino card is adorable. My boys love all things dinosaur and would be all about getting one of these in the mail – or sending out a few themselves.

  4. Who doesn’t love washi tape? lol This is a really cute idea and opens the door to so many other ideas. Thanks!
