Completed project: Father’s Day cards #12months12projects

This post may include affiliate links and I may earn commission if you make a purchase through these links.

I’m only a couple of weeks late on posting about this. To my credit, I didn’t want to share the cards until the recipients had received them!

My latest project…creating Father’s Day cards!

dadsdaycard1

I purchased a few stamp sets (all Stampin’ Up) on eBay and I am in love. I wish I could make similar cards every year for Father’s Day.

(Also is it terrible that I can’t find the photos I took of all three cards? And my husband’s card is missing? Yeah. If I find that third card, I’ll photograph it – again – and add it here.) My husband’s card looked similar to the above card. I really liked how it opened in the middle, rather than the traditional on-the-side opening.

Cards were sent to my dad, father-in-law and my husband.

Stamp sets used:

Delightful Dozen (for the “Happy Father’s Day”)
Packed For Dad
Best Dad Ever

There are still several stamps in the kits that I haven’t used, and I can use for birthdays – or another Father’s Day!

This is project 6 in my goal to complete 12 projects this year! See project 1 and project 2 and project 3 and project 4 and project 5 in previous posts.

That card turned out so cute! One of my boys found a Batman card at the store and insisted on that one for Father’s Day.

Cards that open from the middle are cool. More room to make drawings and decorations (if you want to). 🙂

    These came out great!

I LOVE homemade cards. I’d much rather get a homemade card from one of the kids over a store bought one! More thought and creativity goes into them!
