I have no idea what got into me this weekend, but I woke up and immediately wanted to start checking projects off my long list. I have several panels for cloth books, and this was one that I bought more recently and was anxious to get into the hands of the little one.
I started cutting the panel and fusible fleece during naptime, and managed to get the fleece adhered and start the embroidering (of the baby’s name) before the little guy woke up. I think all of that took just over an hour. I spent about two hours in the afternoon finishing his name, and then sewing it all together. It was MUCH easier than the Paddington book, as there were so many fewer pages to sew!
He has “played” with it a few times. I love looking over and watching him turn the pages. (I have another book that I’m hoping to finish before his birthday next week!)
