Hillary Clinton is coming to Asheville on Thursday. Thursday evening. We’ll be well on our way to Nashville by then – actually an hour outside of Asheville when she’s supposed to arrive.
Bill Clinton was in Asheville a few weeks ago. We were in Lake Waccamaw. I told a few editors I had a feeling that Hillary or Obama would be in Asheville at the end of April – the time I’d be out of town.
I so want to help cover the event. I have other obligations, though. Running obligations.
Maybe Obama will be in town next week. I’m not going to be anywhere next week…
What about John McCain?
I don’t think McCain will be visiting anytime soon. And, if he visited, I’d like to cover it.
