This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.
LEGO has a really fun feature on their site right now – the LEGO Minifigure Family. I had seen a few people doing this on social media this week and once I had a moment, I jumped in to see what I could do with the site.
It's so easy. And fun! It took me less than five minutes, and I was able to create my family in LEGO form, complete with Chloe, our cat. You can add people (children and babies are separate sizes and options), name your family members, select the skin tone (I stuck with the standard yellow LEGO block) and the choose an outfit! There were SO MANY options, even with the hair styles. The facial expressions were hilarious. And some were so fitting.
Once you have your family members (and pets!) created, you can choose from twelve scenes. Where is your family – in front of an igloo? On a holiday-themed stage? In a living room, in front of a fire place? (My family was on stage. It's kind of fitting.)
The final step in making your LEGO Minifigure Family is saving and sharing it. I downloaded mine, but I've seen several people share theirs on Facebook. How fun would this use as your profile picture for a few days? Or your cover photo?
My son loves LEGO blocks. I would love to be able to "create" our family with real-life LEGOs one day, but for now the Minifigure Family will do.
