It’s been a wild year, hasn’t it? Hard to believe fall finally arrived in western North Carolina and I’m ALL about it! This is my favorite time of year, and it shows in my schedule and Timehop posts. (Today I have a post that says we over planned – and see you in November. That’s exactly what we did this year…and it appears to be a recurring theme for October.)

So. What have I been up to?

Reading…. Dark Before Dawn by Monica McGurk. This book releases next week and I’ll have a review for you hopefully this week – but definitely by this weekend!

Watching…Grey’s Anatomy and Project Runway. Grey’s, man. I can’t quit that show. It’s the one night I make sure my son is in bed on time so I can watch it at 8 p.m.

Listening…to Joshua Radin’s new song, “High and Low.” He performed this in June, and released the song at the end of August (I think?) I love it. I can’t wait for a new album for him. Oh and tomorrow night I’ll be listening to David Ryan Harris and Gabe Dixon in Asheville! I haven’t seen DRH in YEARS – long before I met my husband, I think. I’m SO excited!

Exercising…fairly regularly! I ran 4.5 miles with Melissa on Saturday and I ran 3.1 miles during my lunch hour yesterday! I have a challenge for myself to run 38 miles this month – and to get at least one mile walked or run every day. Shouldn’t be too difficult. I think.

Planning…to enjoy birthday festivities and Homecoming this weekend, and possibly sleep in on Sunday. Maybe? Hopefully.

Working…on baby announcements. I know. I’m almost 6 months late on this, but I can’t seem to just sit down and write addresses! It’s crazy! So if you get an announcement before baby girl turns 1, consider yourself lucky.
